Congratulations to our Spring 2014 graduates!

Congratulations to our Spring 2014 graduates!

It doesn’t seem thirteen weeks since our students started in March, but we’re already wishing them farewell. Four brilliant, brand new, BJTC-qualified broadcast journalists are being let loose on the world – we’re very excited.

Pieter Droppert was awarded the Jon Snow Trophy for best student – he’s returning to America, putting his skills to good use covering the bioscience industry.

Daniel Case was awarded our regular BBC placement, in recognition of his enthusiasm and energy, but also his storytelling ability and great voice.

Matt Houghton and Marie Friend are heading to work experience at Radio City 96.7, and radio stations across the North West.

We’re really sorry to see all our students go, but we expect to hear great things from them in the near future.
