Liverpool, UK: The National Broadcasting School (NBS), the UK’s leading centre for communications, today announces Pat Cluskey as its new General Manager.
Pat will formally join the team in February when he will be responsible for the day to day running of the NBS and implementation of the course collection.
Having been a centre of excellence in broadcast training for the past ten years, the new management team has evolved the NBS to include a range of industry-specialist and social media courses and cutting-edge DJ courses at its sister company, Clubskool. NBS launched Bizskool at the end of 2017, offering a collection of professional training courses that teach teams transferable communications skills in a unique and exciting environment.
Pat brings a wealth of experience to NBS following a management career spanning 30 years at organisations such as Halton Borough Council, The Rugby Football League, Leeds Rugby LTD and Widnes RLF.
Specialising in the initiation and development of operational standards and procedures, developing team collaboration, commercial negotiation and strategic development, Pat joins the NBS team to drive business development and ensure the growth and success of NBS as a business.
Tom Hunter, Commercial Director said: “I am delighted to welcome Pat to the team. We have been going through a process of rejuvenating NBS and I am very proud of the team we have built during this phase. We have big ambitions for NBS and Pat will be key to ensure that we achieve our goals.”
Pat Cluskey, General Manager for NBS commented: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at NBS, as enters its next chapter. I am looking forward to applying my experience in reinvigorating businesses to ensure that NBS accomplishes the significant objectives set by the management team. My background in sport and understanding the importance of team work in business will enable us to move forward as one and raise awareness of the fantastic courses NBS offers.”
Located in the Vanilla Factory, NBS’s pioneering newsroom and training studio provides the perfect
