NBS graduate in the running for national award

NBS would like to congratulate Pieter Droppert on his nomination in the Best Radio Documentary category in this year’s BJTC Student Awards.

‘Living Well With Dementia – A Personal Journey’, explores a number of innovative ways people with the condition can be supported.  Despite the subject matter the programme has a positive message; that people can live well with dementia. Pieter’s documentary is given an added poignancy, drawing as it does on the experience of his mother Audrey who had Alzheimer’s and whose voice opens and closes the programme.

Pieter graduated from our Diploma in Radio Journalism course earlier this year.

The awards ceremony takes place in November.
